Walter Ostrander

Founding partner

I've spent my career on the injured person's side of the courtroom.

I grew up in the North End and worked my way through school driving a delivery truck, which is part of why I know what a long shift does to a driver.

I lead the firm's truck crash and wrongful death work, and I try the cases that don't settle. Before a family decides anything, I want them to understand exactly where things stand.

How Walter works

Truck crash cases depend on records that the company controls. My first letter in every one asks the company to keep its logs, inspections and driver files, and I follow up until they're in our hands.

Families in wrongful death cases often aren't ready to talk about money for weeks or months. That's fine. I explain the deadlines, and then I wait until they're ready.
